Linnie Blooms Doodle Bracelet

It's fun to doodle on canvas with fabric markers! It's even MORE fun to doodle on Linnie Blooms Canvas Bracelet Blanks! These bracelet blanks curve automatically to fit most wrists and feature canvas on both sides....plus decorative stitching already done for you. How cool is that?!

 This is THE perfect project for a scout troop, camp, birthday party or sleepover activity...and a wonderful gift idea for a Mom, Grandma, sister, or best friend.  You can even create a more sophisticated version for yourself!

For this project, I used Tulip® Fine Tip Permanent Fabric Markers on a Canvas Bracelet Blank.
Simply place the bracelet flat on your table. Make sure you are drawing on the curved side and begin doodling with the black marker.

Continue adding rows of doodles until the entire bracelet is covered.

At this point, you  have an option.  You can leave the bracelet black and off-white canvas color so it looks like this....

You can also add a few color highlights within a few areas....OR color in the entire design so it looks like this.....

Can't decide?  No surprise....I couldn't either!  So I decided to do ONE of each!  LOL!

Journal with Blooms

Hi,  it's Ann here today from the Linnie Bloom's Design Team and the blog: AnnMakes.  I  used a Home Decor Kit from Linnie Blooms:  Rustic  Journal to make  myself a portable watercolour journal to carry in my bag.

I used some Gelatos and some water to alter the natural canvas for the cover.  I also altered the house shape that comes in the kit to make a flap for the journal.

I used pink and gold gelato to colour the blooms and enhanced the centres with big black embroidery threaded knots. I later glued the flowers to the cover.

I finished the inside cover with some vintage dictionary pages and some Mod Podge.

I cut three sheets of watercolour paper into 6 pieces to make 12 pages in the journal.  I used a very simple book making method by making two holes through the papers and the canvas.

 I then used the piece of jute cord from the kit to bind everything together with a double knot.

I sewed a zig zag line on the house/flap.  I also stitched the flap to the journal back on my sewing machine.  I added small velcro to the cover and flap.

Finally to add some whimsy to the cover I used some stamps and Staz On ink for the Bee.

Smile & Believe Canvas Layout

Hello!

It’s Rochelle again and today I am sharing with you another 12x12 layout I created using 

Linnie Blooms Canvas Scrapbooking Page.

This is a layout about my In-laws who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary!!  They are truly an inspiration!  I used Websters papers and fussy cut the rainbow and the title piece with the kites.  I also used a few scraps to layer underneath the photo.

I used Linnie Blooms Stitched Greeting Stamp Set for the title & Linnie Bloom Stitched Sunshine Stamp Set  for the sunflower over the rainbow.

For added dimension, I added my favorite... Linnie Bloom Mesh and tied a bow.

cute boy -- art journal page

hello and good morning to all Linnie Bloomers

I am excited to share my art journal page featuring my elder brother. The pic may be around 45 years old. At that in India , all kids owned this soldier uniform.

Process

1. first tear two triangle paper pieces of different sizes. then stitch the lace with the paper.
2. then using the stencil give some dimension to the canvas.
3. apply some colour through mist and acrlyic colors. 
4. Stamp paper with Butterfly stamp. Sprinkle embossing powder and heat it with embossing tool
5. stick the fuzzy  cut picture on the butterfly.
6. stick he triangle paper to the canvas. Adhere some embellishments.
7. Finally adhere some buttons.

Feather LB Card

Hi everyone!!

Here Noe to share with you a new inspiration project!! Are you ready?? It´s time to create!!

For this time, I wanted to create my own colorful background with Distress Inks and Stitched Greetings Stamp! 

Here is my project.…Hope you will like it ... It´s very colorful, isn´t it??

Products used:

• Stitches Greetings Clear Stamp Set
• Feather Stencil and Mask

 To make the background I used the embossing resist technique (stamping with embossing transparent ink and using clear embossing powder, then... I play with my Distress Inks applied with the Blending Tool). Finally, splashing drops on the card so that the ink react.

To create the feathers I used Linnie Blooms Feather stencil covering with Sparkle Medium and let it dry.  Then, I drew the outline with a black marker.

A touch of vintage baby...

Hello Crafters,
I'm Karen and today I'm here to share my scrapbook layout using a Linnie Blooms Mini File Folder. I used the file folder as a matting to add softness to my nephew Colin's one month old birthday layout. I chose a chalkboard background and vintage toy embellishments to bring it all together.  Some of my most favorite layouts have been ones with lots of layers and different textures. I think the distressed canvas perfectly compliments the vintage feel of this layout.  I love those little frayed edges and the zig zag stitching is done for you. It was sew easy!!!

 
A Closer Look:

Directions:
1. Lightly dust the edge of the Canvas Mini File Folder with brown and grey chalk to distress the fabric and give it an aged appearance.
2. Matte one photo with paper and attach the other to the file folder.
3. Assemble the title on 2 flags and use twine to hang a small tag from the corner of one of the photos.
4. Use a craft knife to slice the edge of the chalkboard/frame to tuck some accents along the bottom of the frame.
(Put foam tape on of a few of them to give more dimension.)
5. Embellish the layout with chipboard stars. 6. Add faux chalk doodles and dust smudges to the background with a white pencil.
7. Use a white gel pen to accent your embellishments with dots or stitches. Finally, use a permanent pen to highlight a single important feature in the black & white photo. (On my BW photo, I colored the word "one" in yellow.)
