Hi everyone....this is a special post from me to my Mom and Dad. I found this picture of them on their wedding day August 30, 1946 and decided to make this for my mom. My dad passed away in 1988...they would have been married 69 years now. He is waiting for her in Heaven. :)
I had to find a large canvas for the picture so I used the Linnie Blooms 12x12 canvas...love these...such a nice quality.
I started out with the Linnie Blooms 12x12 canvas and used 3 different inks to get the color I wanted for my paper. I love how the ink works on canvas.
I used a piece of paper with roses on it to go with my mom's bouquet. I tore it up and sewed it to the canvas. I LOVE that I can sew on it!
I added the photo, some flowers with beads in the center, some vintage tatting,
leaves and 5 little crystals on wire to represent the 5 us kids. :)
I added the lace to the top of the canvas and diamond Stickles to my moms bouquet and around the project. The photo is a copy that I found...it is much better in person...just couldn't capture well.
And there you go...:) I love it! I'm going to add a ribbon to hang it. I think my mom will love it too.
Thank you and please visit the Linnie Blooms website for lots of nice products including the 12x12 canvas used in this project.

The Best Day LO
Hi everyone!!!
Here Noe to show you my newest LO´s! Are you ready to create and fun? Here we go!!! I love creating LO using my favorite photos that it remind me special moments.
To make this LO I used LB Scrapbook Page. It´s the first time I used a canvas support, I usually do my LO on paper ... but I love it !!! Inks and textures are much nicer !!
To make my own background, I play with my sprays inks and my favourites stencils… So simple!! Enjoy!! Also used dimensional paste to give relief (in my case, I used Sparkle Medium and pearlescent embossing paste). If you like the result, let it dry.
Place your favourites photos over some scrapbook papers and decorate your LO with background and border stamps, washi tape, flowers, and everything you can think of !!
More photos in detail:
I hope you liked my project... Have you tried already make your LO's in canvas scrapbook pages?

Linnie Blooms 12 x 12 Old Glory
I saw fireworks and smiles and food that stretch for miles and miles. Sang Songs and don't tell but no one was in tune.. Sunday, I was watching the US women's soccer team win the World Cup and flags were flying and smiles were alive through painted faces it was a sea of Red White and Blue. It made me remember that I forget how beautiful are flag truly is, the meaning behind it and how proud I am of it!
I am making my post on July 6th and I'm adding my version of Old Glory
I started with the 12 x 12 Canvas Page from Linnie Blooms, I love this size it's great for a frame, an album or all sorts of things.
I used the Linnie Blooms Canvas Sunflower Stencil to hold my USA , I daubed and painted and texturize to create stripes, I did them freehand so I wasn't looking to make them straight. I used Folk Art paint White for the base and Folk Art Red to start the stripe and finished with Red from Art Anthology. Art Anthology's Mud was used on top of stripes for give texture.
I threw some turquoise paint from Art Anthology in scattered places.
I used the Linnie Blooms Canvas Sunflower Stencil to trace onto some material and I cut it out from some material I had lying around the house. I used Sizzix's Star Framelits to cut out a star from the material and from a piece of lace.
I forgot to mention that before I started the project I painted the canvas using the Folk Art Paint White
Happy Summer Day's

Canvas Scrapbook Page
Creating a background is such a completely satisfying process. Without
relying on pretty patterned paper for the layout, anything is possible. I
am the first to admit, a blank 12' canvas can be a bit intimidating but
also so exciting. My best advice, "just go for it." I just had to start
even though I didn't know exactly where my project would end up. I
began by simply picking a stencil and color scheme.
A Closer Look:
Directions:
1. Prepare the canvas by securing the stencil to the canvas in 5-6 spots using double sided tape. Spray 1-2 squirts of mist (because a little goes a long way) and while firmly holding the stencil, work the paint into the canvas with a make-up sponge. Continue to apply additional colors and blend.
2. Next, dry emboss white cardstock with a damask pattern and then apply Distress Ink on the raised image. Tear one edge of the embossed paper and then brush on a generous swipe of Crackle Paint so that it just peaks out the sides when the photo is attached. Allow it to dry thoroughly before mounting the photo on the embossed card. Tear one edge of the velum paper and mount the photo cluster onto it.
3. Stamp the Vine Silhouette image onto cardstock with VersaMark ink, sprinkle embossing powder, and heat emboss. Cut the embossed image in half, tear both edges, and adhere it vertically behind the photo cluster.
4. After the canvas is dry, prepare your stamps using an acrylic paint dabber. Stamp randomly over the misted canvas with three different images. Remember to check to see that the stamp is evenly inked and look for any excess ink that should be removed so that it doesn't spoil the impression. Also, you may like to dab your finger along the outer edges of the stamp to lighten the applied ink so the image will have a gradual fade out and a more distressed look.
5. Finally, (the best part)...embellish the layout with rose trim, lace, butterflies, gems flourishes, charms, chipboard bird, and a title or quote. I stamped leaves onto transparency and embossed them in silver. Lastly, I stamped a quote onto transparency and heat embossed it with silver powder so that I had the ability to place it on the layout over dry embossed textured paper that would have been impossible to stamp on directly. To finish off the layout, lightly dust the edge of the canvas with a hint of pink chalk.
Supplies: 12x12 Canvas Scrapbook Page-Linnie Blooms, leaf vine stencil-Prima, pink/teal/lavender mist-Perfect Pearls Spray, silver acrylic paint dabber-Ranger, damask embossing folder-Darice, Tattered Rose Distress Ink-Ranger, Tattered Rose Crackle Paint-Ranger, Script Border stamp set-Heidi Grace, Flourish Script stamp-Ditto, Silhouette Spray stamp-N180 Stampendous, Fern Background stamp-Posh Impressions, Possibility stamp-Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, VersaMark ink-Tsukineko, transparency, Pearl & Silver embossing powder-Stampendous, heat gun, vellum, blush rose trim-American Crafts, butterfly embellishments, skeleton leaves, chipboard, gems, charms, chalks- Inkadinkado
Don't forget to stop by the LB Shop to see all the wonderful canvas products.
TIPS: If you feel nervous or uncertain about the placement of the stamped images, stamp your chosen design on scratch paper multiple times. Cut them apart and use them to plan your stamping to see what works. Try different arrangements before taking the big leap to stamp directly on the canvas. Keep in mind that, using 3 repeated designs in a triangular formation around the focal point is the ideal number for balance, as groups of odd numbers are the most appealing. If you still can't decide between placements, you can photograph the different layouts to compare them on the computer screen side by side. This takes the guess work and uncertainty out of stamping so you can get back to creating. By taking a few moments to do these preparations, you will be happier with the final result.

It’s Rochelle again and today I am sharing with you another 12x12 layout I created using
This is a layout about my In-laws who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary!! They are truly an inspiration! I used Websters papers and fussy cut the rainbow and the title piece with the kites. I also used a few scraps to layer underneath the photo.
I used Linnie Blooms Stitched Greeting Stamp Set for the title & Linnie Bloom Stitched Sunshine Stamp Set for the sunflower over the rainbow.
I hope I have inspired you to create something fun! Stop by Linnie Blooms for more Canvas products and project kits! :)

"Lovely Princess" 12x12 Canvas Scrapbook Page
Hi All! It's Rochelle here today to share with you this 12x12 Layout I created on a Linnie Blooms 12x12 Canvas Scrapbook Page. I love creating scrapbook layouts, it's what I create most of the time. Being able to create a layout on a 12x12 canvas is not only innovative, it's also super fun!!
Here's my layout:
Here's the 12x12 canvas before I started to create the layout:
The canvas comes already stitched, lined with recycled paper. So it's very durable! :)
After adding 3 different Heidi Swapp color sprays to create the background, I chose a few different pieces os patterned paper and layered them. I love using the Linnie Blooms Mesh. I added it into my layers and just love how it came out!
I used the Linnie Blooms Canvas Petal Flowers and the Linnie Blooms Leaves to create this flower.
I used the same Heidi Swapp color sprays that I used for the background to color the flower. I scrunched up one petal flower and layered it onto another one and added a small piece of the mess for the center.
Lastly, I added my embellishments and I was done! :)
If you haven't tried creating on a 12x12 Canvas Scrapbook Page, you need to try it!!! :)
You can purchase the12x12 Canvas on the Linnie Blooms website HERE.

Heart of Gold~Layout
With Valentines Day coming up soon, I wanted to make a Valentine Project. I guess with the amount of yellow I used.. this is totally unexpected. I used a 12 x 12 mixed stitched canvas page from Linnie Blooms to get started. Rochelle showed you a stunning layout yesterday, using the same canvas page.
For my layout I wanted to do something with the ATC canvas stitched card so I cut out a heart with one of the Tim Holtz dies. I also wanted to use a color I never work with... yellow. This was also my 1st time creating something on the 12x12 Mixed Stitched layouts. So many new things for me on one page. I ended up keeping it simple and only used one picture.
Here is a look at some of the items I used for my layout.

This is not a typical Valentine Decoration but I am gonna make it work. I hope you try something new and work with a new product too. Check out the Linnie Blooms website to see all of the other wonderful products they carry.
