New Product Reveal - Day 2

For this Fall/Winter, I wanted to feature some simple home decor items that you can use to create beautiful items not only for your home, but also as holiday gifts.  This is yet just another reason why I love to work with canvas.  It's so durable and flexible, that the ideas are never-ending!

So today I would like to share with you my new 13x13 Pillow Covers.  They are made from blank natural canvas, just like my other canvas products, so they make the perfect "canvas" for your masterpiece!  And again, you can either sew or NO SEW!  Here are two no-sew designs that I have made so far:

I used some scrap fabric, Linnie Blooms Canvas Dies and Linnie Blooms Stencils/Masks.  The pennant banners are LB canvas dies that I glued fabric to.  The bird, wing and flower petals were all created using my LB Stencils.  Everything was adhered to the pillow cover with Fabric Fusion.  

This Pillow Cover is loaded with fun mixed media techniques!  I started the background with various stencils, including the new LB Feather Stencil, along with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spritz.  Then I randomly stamped some of my favorite stamps with Black Archival Ink.  The flowers were LB Canvas Dies, including the center circles.  I colored them with acrylic paints.  The flower stems are made from Brave Girls Club tissue paper that I mod podged onto the cover.  The "sun" is the LB Sunflower Canvas Die that I stenciled and doodled on.  The bird I drew onto canvas and painted with acrylics.  I love the fall colors in this one.
