Introducing our new Trees & Leaves

What a perfect time to start seeing the leaves on the trees change and fall.   At the same time you may start to see those Christmas trees set up in the front windows of homes.

So why not introduce our Trees & Leaves.  Here are just a few samples of the new Mixed Media Canvas Shapes we plan to show you through out the next two months.

Leafy Fun With Pinky **Tutorial**

Good morning Linnie Bloom friends,
Pinky here today with this Linnie Bloom Canvas card
perfect for fall or even Thanksgiving.

These new Linnie Bloom shapes are amazing and easy to work with.

  • Using small leaf stamps (I used Nuts About You from Avocado Arts) and several fall colored inks (Clearsnap Chalk Inks), stamps leaves all over upper part of Linnie Blooms Canvas Full Tree.

  •  Spritz entire tree using Smooch Spritz in Gold Glow (adds shimmer).
  • Rub tree trunk with brown ink.
  • Ink edges of tree by hand.

  •  Adhere tree (Beacon 3N1 Adhesive) to kraft paper and trim out.
  • Trim out card (4.5X5) from card stock (CutCardStock) and layer papers.
  • Adhere tree to front of card as shown.

  •  Using foam pop dots- adhere die cut sentiment (Teresa Collins) to center of tree).
  • Adhere card front to card base.

That's it! A beautiful fall card with a  handmade touch.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and like this card!
Until next time- Keep on creating.

Fall Chalkboard Tutorial by Pinky

Good morning Linnie Bloom friends,
Pinky here today with a step by step photo tutorial on making this
chalkboard wall hanging. Especially how I created these
Using old Thickers- press carefully into Linnie Bloom Canvas Fall Leaves.
If Thickers are not sticker enough use extra adhesive.
Carefully go letter around each one using Smooch Ink.
Spritz each Linnie Bloom Canvas Fall Leaf using Smooch Spritz  in fall colors.
I also edged each one with Smooch Gold Ink.
After Smooch dries (10 minutes) peel off Thickers.
 This is the end result.
Create patterned paper base in desired size and lightly spritz
using same Smooch Spritz to ensure color cohesion.
Stitch Linnie Bloom Canvas Fall Leaves down using sewing machine.
Stitch around patterned paper base as well.
Paint Genuinely Jane Wood Birdhouse album page using Chalkboard paint.
Add embellishments. (Linnie Bloom Canvas Fall Leaves was
spritzed using same colors only without the alphabet).
Drill two holes in the bottom of the wood page.
Thread using Ribbons Unlimited Sheer Ribbon.
Now it's ready for your chalk message and it's a beautiful addition
to your room for the fall!

The Linnie Bloom Canvas Fall Leaves are a wonderful new item in the store.
Be sure to check them out.

Long Blank Canvas And Butterflies!

Hello Linnie Bloom Friends,
Pinky here again-
Today I have a project to share using the amazing
I had a good time creating this canvas.
I used Smooch Spritz which I spritzed in graduated
colors- them to mute it I spray painted over the smooch with regular almond color
spray paint. I love how effective it was.
I stamped the butterflies and the vintage lace.
I added embellishments for the pop.
Because I wanted texture I added Hambly acetate paper.
This was a fun project with Linnie Blooms Canvas.

Meet the Designers - Pinky (Cristal) Hobbs

Hi there, it's just me Pinky- your average ordinary crafter and mom who happens to have pinky hair.
I live in Middle Tennessee right below Nashville with my 3 crazy active boys, 14 chickens, 2 dogs, and 1 bird. It's a crazy life but it's my life.
I have been paper crafting for about 6 years now and I known for my FEARLESS lack of inhibition style scrapbooking. I scrap it all, the good, the bad, and even the ugly. I want to remember it all!
I will try anything once and I will share all my secrets with you because scrapbooking is all about sharing and making it from the heart.
I love all styles and all creations because they all come from love.
I hope I inspire you to be more creative. What is life without creativity?
