Boo-Tiful Treat Bag for Halloween

Hello, and Happy Halloween in advance!  It's Ann, here today from the Linnie Blooms Design Team and I have this sweet treat bag how-to, to share with you.  I love Halloween as it lets me be a kid and have an excuse to eat those little chocolate bars, hee hee hee.  Here is my project:

To make one like this all you need is to get a small brown paper gift bag,  some Linnie Blooms Canvas die cuts and, some imagination!

To begin, colour the three circles orange with any medium.  Let the circles dry, and then square off each circle to get a pumpkin shape.  You can also draw lines on the pumpkins to make them look more real.

Colour a Linnie Blooms canvas Die Cut Owl black.  Trim the owl's horns to look more like cat ears.  Then trim off the sides of the owl to give it more of a cat shape.  I used a bit that was cut off for it's tail.

Trim the Green trim to make the stems.  Now, glue down all the pieces.   Don't forget to add some eyes to our scared kitty!

The Boo sentiments are made by using a label maker and tape, and a piece of skinny black ribbon is used to tie a bow to one of the bag's handles.

To make the cat looked spooked you can draw some lines with a black pen to make his fur stand up.
The bottom section is decorated with some strips of wash tape.

I hope that you enjoy making some of your very own Treats this Halloween.  Have fun and be safe.
