***Here are the cute Shabby Chic Bookmarks***

 How cute are these right???

So now do you want to make your own???

Here are the steps to complete your own shabby chic bookmarks. 1. Use your spritz ink to ink the bookmarks (Allow to dry) 2.Take your Gellatos and color on the bookmarks (I used several different colors). Take a paintbrush and some water and blend the colors to liking. (Allow to dry) 3. Take the stamp block and place the stamp on the block, use the ink and stamp onto the dry canvas bookmarks. 4. Spritz the leaf green and allow to dry, adhere with fabric fusion. 5. Cut three flowers each  and adhere to the bottom of the bookmark. 6. Add the wood veneer pieces and the straight pins. 7. Punch a hole in the top of the bookmarks and add ribbon to the tops. Be sure to check out the Linnie Blooms Store to get your goodies Tell them Madge sent you!! Hello everybody!
Who does not use marker to book? I think everyone needs one.
I made this bag you can buy in stores Linnie Blooms. Use your imagination and create many you need! Think about it! You create your own marker and can give that friend or beloved teacher.

 Here are some details

Be inspired and make your bookmarks. Thank you and have a great day!

Birthday Bookmark

Today is my birthday, so I decided to create something that was just to make me happy ... a bookmark.
Yes, sometimes I still read a traditional book and need a bookmark to hold my spot.

I started with a blank from Linnie Blooms. This is actually two pieces of canvas sewed together with paper in between.

Then, I decided to try something different. I honestly did not think it would work, so I was ecstatic when it did.

I used an embossing folder and my Big Shot to create this unique texture on the canvas blank. Cool, eh?!

Then, I used the Copic Airbrush System to create a purple gradient.

Next, I used a Wendy Vecchi stencil and Dreamweaver's Glossy Black Embossing Paste to create the flower.

The small words are Tim Holtz rub ons. I also added a stamped word, some ribbon and floss.

And I learned you can used all of these techniques to decorate a canvas project.

Thanks for visiting!
