Sweet Mini

Marie here today showing you a mini album made with Linnie Blooms 5x5 Canvas Blanks.

These proudct fits perfectly for the front and back of a album. I have cut different patterned papers into the same shapes as the canvas and then punched holes trough the whole lot.

I won´t show you more of the inside than this, cause it´s a present for a friend and rather personal, but you get the idea.

Hope this will inspire you to create a couple of sweet mini ablums this summer!

Have a really nice day.

Tooth Fairy Dreams

Hello!
I'm excited to share this gift I created for a special little man
in our family who has his very first loose tooth.
I think little Maddox is going to be so tickled with his
"Tooth Fairy Pocket"
It holds a tag...
that holds an envelope...
 for his tooth.
And exchange for the tooth...
a little sumthin' sumthin' from the Tooth Fairy.
I monogramed the back.
Added a small handle just incase he'd prefer to hang it on his bed post
or door knob vs. under the pillow.
You can find this darling little canvas flourish pocket in the Linnie Blooms Shop.
Be sure to peek in on the Linnie Blooms Facebook Page too.
We welcome you to share your designs using Linnie Blooms products on
Facebook  where the "Pick of the Week" wins a $10 gift certificate.
Have a great day.

Art Journal Times Together...

Hey, Hey friends!!!! Happy Friday It's me Scrappin Madge!!! Whoop Whoop! Is there any better way to start off the weekend than by playing with some yummy Linnie Bloom products???
A few weeks ago I shared with you the cover and the first two pages of my journal.  To check out that blog post click {HERE}.  In that blog post I said that I would continue to share my art journal as I went.  Today I have 1 more pages, a pocket and a tag to share with you!

I used gellatos like watercolors.  Then I used some molding paste and paint.  I then used Heidi Swapp mist sprays.  (Allowing each layer to dry before adding another)  I then took the canvas shapes and sprayed them with several different colors of spritz.  After they were dry I attached them to my canvas journal using fabric fusion {HERE}.  When they were good and dry I took my Faber Castle black marker and drew doors and windows and chimneys on the houses.  Then I took some Gold Leaf Rub n Buff to the journal.  Next I stamped the sentiment Good Times Together.  I just love how this page turned out!

Butterfly pocket:
I started off by spraying the canvas with some Lindy's Stamp Gang flat spritz sprays.  I allowed it to dry.  I then took the butterfly stencil from Linnie Blooms {HERE} and used some embossing paste {HERE} I then took some silver embossing powder and made this great butterfly.  I also stamped the word believe on the same pocket as the butterfly.  I misted some fun glitter mist to make it sparkle!!!

Dream Tag:
I stamped the image of the girl first, then stamped the dream sentiment, next I stamped the heart.  I used my heat gun to make sure that the black ink was set before I started to use my spritz ink on the canvas.  I used the Heidi Swapp Gold shimmer mist {HERE}to give it some sparkle. The Stamp set is a CTMH stamp set.

Be sure to stay tuned, for two more pages of this journal.  My next post day is next Friday!
Also be sure to get all of your Linnie Bloom Products Today!!!

A woman of few words

Hi Kim from A Paper Addict here. Today I am not a woman of many words. I feel as if I am unable to articulate the sayings of my soul verbally. I know that our theme is "Outdoors" in June.

I find the silence deafening in my mind. I know that late in the evening in the outside silence I will often hear the hoot if an owl.

Wise beyond our understanding. Eyes so beautiful, soulful.

So my first post this month is just that. The wise owl mostly silence in the night with the moon beams shining brightly.

Here is where it starts.

I love my water color crayons especially on canvas.

This is the owl. As I see him in the trees. Silent in the moonbeams.

He is and owl cut shape on the canvas ATC cards. I used matte meduim to make him stiff and attached to my card.

Be sure to check out the the Linnie Blooms Shop

Summertime, Summertime, Sum-, Sum-, Summertime!

Happy Hump Day!  I hope you're all having a great week and are getting to enjoy some fun things this summer.  Here in Arkansas, we've had rain EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past few weeks.  I don't remember a summer like this, and I grew up in Arkansas!  We need a few days WITHOUT rain so everything can dry out, and the kids can get outside to play some.

The Design Team's Challenge this month is to show what we love to do in the summer by using Linnie Blooms' canvas, stencils, and/or masks.  In my family, we LOVE to sit outside and grill while the kids play in the yard, so I created this fun outdoor grillin' card:

First, I painted the canvas sun with watercolors, using yellow around the edges and a combination of red, orange, and yellow in the center.  While that dried, I painted the bottom of my cardstock with green watercolor for hills and the top with a combination of blue, red, orange, yellow, and purple watercolor trying to simulate a sunset.  Using some stamps I found in my stash, I then created the scene with the grill, deck chair and umbrella, and tub of beer & wine.  I used a couple sentiments to finish off the scene, then I adhered the sun with Liquid Stitch fabric adhesive.  I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out!

Here are the supplies I used:

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project!  Be sure to hop over to the Linnie Blooms shop to pick up your own canvas pieces and try your hand at creating a project showing what YOU love to do in the summertime.  Have a great rest of your week, and be sure to come back to see what the rest of the Design Team has in store!

Canvas pin

Hello Everyone, Kim here today with another fun and simple project using the canvas butterfly. I made it into a pin. You can wear it on a jacket, scarf, or attach it to a pillow, or even a curtain.

Let me tell you a little bit about how, I made this. First, I took the canvas butterfly and gessoed the front and then the back. This makes it stiff. Once it was dry, I used spray inks, stencil and some glitter glue. The center piece is a collaged mini-domino piece. Attached that to the canvas butterfly with some E6000. Made some antennas out of wire and used E6000 to attach them to the back of the canvas butterfly. Then I took some felt (I only had blue) and used my butterflies stencil/mask and trace a butterfly on the felt.  Cut it out. Since,  I can't sew to I used fabric glue attach the felt to the backside of the canvas butterfly. Leaving open one wing so you can add poly stuffing to it. Once you have it all filled with the poly stuffing then put the fabric glue on open area to close it. Then with E6000 I add a pin closure. Let dry and you have a super duper cute pin.

Hope you have enjoyed my project today!
Hugs,
Kim H
